Meet Dr. Morgan Black

Dr. Morgan Black is a dedicated and skilled physical therapist and the owner of In Motion Physical Therapy in Holbrook, Arizona. With a passion for helping patients achieve their best physical health, Dr. Black brings extensive clinical experience and a personalized approach to every patient he treats.

Dr. Black attained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from South College in Knoxville, TN, after completing his Bachelor's of Science in Fitness Wellness from Northern Arizona University. He is also certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as an Exercise Physiologist.

With a broad range of expertise, Dr. Black specializes in manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, post-surgical rehabilitation, and managing chronic conditions like low back pain. He employs evidence-based practices and contemporary clinical approaches to assess and treat each patient's unique needs. Dr. Black is passionate about helping his patients regain their strength, mobility, and confidence through tailored exercise programs and hands-on therapy techniques.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Black enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, weight lifting, skateboarding, snowboarding, and watching re-runs of The Office. His commitment to his patients and community is evident in the care and dedication he brings to In Motion Physical Therapy every day.

Meet Monique

This is Monique Montaño. She obtained her Master’s in Public Health from A.T. Still University, Bachelor’s in Physiology from The University of Arizona, and Associate's of Applied Science from Carrington College. She is licensed through the Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Monique is a mom of a 7-year-old daughter, Aria, and she is the light of her world. Monique is originally from Winslow, AZ but grew up in Gilbert, AZ. She recently moved to Winslow a few years ago to be closer to family.

Monique has always had a passion for helping people get well, which is why Physical Therapy is a perfect fit. She loves the outdoors, sports, and anything she does with her daughter. Monique loves to work on her physical, mental, and spiritual health.

She has been a Physical Therapist Assistant for 10+ years working in Acute Inpatient Rehab, Outpatient Ortho, and Pediatric Home Healthcare with Equine therapy. Monique has been working with In Motion Physical Therapy since October of 2023 and has loved every moment of it. She enjoys going to work every day because she truly feels blessed to work with such amazing colleagues. #DreamTeam

Meet Jordan

Jordan Moss was raised in Holbrook, Az. She has been married for 7 years and is a mom of the cutest 2 year old boy and 2 dogs. She is passionate about creating a life you love and being a part of the healthcare field has allowed her to do that for herself and help others do the same! She got her massage therapy license in 2018 and worked as an LMT for about 4 years. She moved back to Holbrook in 2019 and has been working with In Motion PT as a tech since November 2022.

Jordan loves working in physical therapy to help people live a functional life and has decided to continue her education to be able to help even more people! She has been accepted into the San Juan University Physical Therapist Assistant program to start in fall 2024! Jordan loves spending time with family, hiking, kayaking, (anything outdoors really) dogs, binge watching shows, sleep, Taylor Swift, and annoying her coworkers to be in videos (follow us on Instagram!) She loves being apart of the best team at IMPT! #dreamteam

Meet April

This is April Tsosie our Physical Therapist Assistant from Indian Wells, AZ, of the Navajo Nation. She is of the Bitter Water People (To'dích'íi'nii nishlí), born for The Charcoal streaked of the Red Running into the Water People (Naasht’ézhí Táchii'níí báshíshchíín), her maternal grandparents are of the Many Goats People (Tl'izí lání dashicheii), and paternal grandparents are of the Towering House People (Kiyaa'áanii dashinalí). She's a former Roadrunner graduate of Holbrook High School, where she earned a college basketball scholarship to continue her education at Glendale Community College, AZ.

She played two years and received her Associates in Applied Science. Thereafter, April continued onto Northern Arizona University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. Once accepted into the PTA program, she attended Gateway Community College in Phoenix, AZ, to receive her license as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She has experience with personal training and diabetes education. She married her NAU college sweetheart and has three adorable children. She enjoys taking her family out on walks and hiking trips. She loves running, playing volleyball/basketball, working out, watching WNBA/college games, Netflix, sewing, gardening, and traveling.

She is originally from Los Angeles, California, but moved to Holbrook with her husband in 2015. She has four beautiful children and enjoys music, art, documentaries, coffee, and cold weather.
